MAN CHARGED IN HALFWAY HOUSE MURDER

 

Denver District Attorney Bill Ritter, Jr. formally charged a man today in connection with the murder of a man last Sunday at the Williams Street halfway house.

 

Todd Mayes (DOB: 1-25-65) is charged with first-degree murder (F1).

 

The charge alleges that Mayes stabbed 24-year-old Dennis Quintana to death following an altercation at the halfway house where they were both living.

 

Mayes remains in custody in the Denver County Jail and will appear in Denver County Court on Monday, January 5, 2004 at 9:00 a.m. in room 12T to be advised of the charge.
