MOTHER OF MURDER DEFENDANT CHARGED

AS ACCESSORY

 

 

Denver District Attorney Bill Ritter, Jr. has charged the mother of a murder defendant as an accessory today.

 

Angela Candelaria (DOB: 9-18-63) is charged with accessory to a crime (F5).

 

The charge alleges that she aided and abetted her son, Robert Sandoval-Candelaria, who is accused in the murder of Sarah Heine.

 

Candelaria remains in custody in the Denver County Jail.  Her bond has been set at $10,000.  She will be formally advised of the charge on Wednesday, December 8, 2004 at 9 a.m. in Denver County Court room 12T.
