MAN CHARGED IN WOMAN’S MURDER

 

Denver District Attorney Bill Ritter, Jr. has formally charged a man in connection with the death of his former wife whose body was found earlier this week.

 

Marcilino Carbajal (DOB: 11-4-78) is charged with first-degree murder after deliberation (F1).

 

26-year-old Dometria Carbajal was found dead in her home in the 2800 block of Xavier Street on June 6, 2004.  Denver police investigators later identified Marcilino Carbajal as a suspect and arrested him the following day.

 

He remains in custody in the Denver County Jail and will appear for advisement on the charge on Tuesday, June 15, 2004 at 8:30 a.m. in Denver County Court, room 12T.
