MAN CHARGED WITH PERJURY FOR PHONY

VOTER REGISTRATION SIGNATURES

Denver District Attorney Bill Ritter, Jr. has formally charged a third person connected to phony voter registration forms that resulted in charges against two people last week.

Lloyd “Frosty” Herrera (DOB: 12-23-73) is charged with five counts of perjury (M1).

The charges allege that Herrera filled out several phony registration forms for Monique Mora and Pelonne Page (both of whom were charged last week with procuring false registrations) so that they would get paid for their work.

Herrera was booked into the Denver County Jail on Saturday, October 30, 2004 and will appear in Denver County Court, room 11S, this afternoon at 1:30 p.m. for his advisement.
