Former Youth
Leader Pleads Guilty
Peter Kim
(DOB 10-10-67) pleaded guilty today to third-degree sexual
assault (M1). The charge alleged that Kim sexually abused a
teenage girl in 1993 while working as a youth leader at Cherry
Creek Presbyterian Church in Englewood. The victim reported the
assault once she began working with church youth who faced
similar experiences.
Kim is scheduled for sentencing on April 30 at
1:30pm in courtroom 12. He faces up to 2 years in county jail.
