DENVER MOTOR
VEHICLE WORKER CHARGED
WITH BRIBERY

Attorney Bill Ritter, Jr. has formally charged a Denver Motor
Vehicle worker today, following allegations that she was selling
fraudulent temporary vehicle permits. The investigation
was conducted over the last several months by investigators in
the Auto Industry Division of the Colorado Department of Motor
Vehicles.
Ana Luna
(DOB:12-23-64) is charged with bribery (F3),
conspiracy to commit bribery (F6), embezzlement of public
property (F5), first-degree official misconduct (M2)
and theft (M3). She was arrested today and was
booked into the Denver County Jail. Her bond has been set
at $10,000.
The charges allege
that Luna created fraudulent temporary permits for vehicles and
sold them for $40. Luna was employed by the Denver Motor
Vehicle office at 44th and Lowell Boulevard. Her
next court date is pending.
Others involved in
buying the phony permits may also be charged.
