ROBBERY ‘VICTIM’ CHARGED WITH CHILD EXPLOITATION

Denver District Attorney Bill Ritter, Jr. has charged an 82-year-old man in connection with possessing and selling child pornography.

James Pullano (DOB: 12-7-21) is charged with two counts of exploitation of children (F3 and M1).

On January 22, 2004, Denver police officers responded to an adult bookstore (Mile High Exchange) at 125 Broadway on a report of a robbery.  The owner, 82-year-old James Pullano, reported that he had just been robbed.  While investigating the reported robbery, officers found pictures depicting child pornography.  Further investigation revealed numerous photos and videos.  Pullano was taken into custody.

Pullano has been released on $10,000 bond.  He is scheduled to appear in Denver County Court, room 12T, on February 9, 2004 at 9:00 a.m. to be advised of the charges.
