Robbery
Victims Charged with Drug Possession
A family
victimized in a home-invasion robbery are now facing criminal
charges after Methamphetamine was discovered in their home.
The incident began on February 18, 2004, when Delores Sena was
assaulted in her home as a result of attempted robbery.
Denver District Attorney Bill Ritter, Jr. filed attempted
robbery and other charges on February 23, 2004 against
Giancarlo Solano (DOB 11-6-84), Sheila Martinez
(DOB 4-12-74), and Christopher Vigil (DOB
4-12-82) in connection with the robbery and assault.
Solano,
Martinez, and Vigil are each charged with two counts of
first-degree burglary (F3), attempted aggravated
robbery (F4), two counts of criminal conspiracy
(F4), and three counts of third-degree assault (M1).
The break-in is allegedly drug related.
During the
Denver Police Department’s investigation into the
home-invasion, investigators discovered methamphetamine.
Police obtained a search warrant and later arrested all three
family members.
Clarence
Sena, Sr.
and Delores Sena have been charged with
possession of a controlled substance (F6). Their son,
Clarence Sena, Jr. has been charged with two counts of
possession with intent to distribute (F3) and two
counts of possession of a controlled substance (F4).
Vigil is
scheduled for 2nd advisement on March 5, 2004.
Solano is scheduled for 2nd advisement on February
25, 2004, and Martinez on March 8, 2004. Clarence Sena Jr.
remains in custody and will have his 2nd advisement
on February 26, 2004. Clarence Sena Sr. and Delores Sena are
both out on bond, and are scheduled for 2nd
advisement on March 5, 2004. All advisements are to take
place at 9:00 a.m.
