SECOND PERSON
CHARGED IN WOMAN’S MURDER
Denver District Attorney Bill
Ritter Jr. has formally charged a woman in connection with the
death of Sabra Lomax whose body was found near railroad tracks
in Englewood earlier this summer.
Veronica Tapia
(7-21-84) is charged with first-degree murder (F1),
first-degree arson (F3) and second-degree arson (F4).
Tapia is a co-defendant with
Mario Rios who was charged earlier in the case with similar
charges.
Tapia is currently in custody in
the Denver County Jail and will be formally advised of the
charges against her on August 4, 2004 at 9:00 a.m. in courtroom
12T.
