 CHARGES FILED IN MURDER

 

Denver District Attorney Mitch Morrissey has formally charged a man in connection with the murder of Luis Romero in May 2005.

 

Jose Alvarado-Juarez (DOB: 06-28-82) is charged with first-degree murder (F1), attempted first-degree murder (F2), and first-degree assault (F3).

 

The charges allege that Alvarado-Juarez shot and killed 21-year-old Luis Romero and injured 26-year-old Christopher Ramos after an altercation near 38th and Lipan in the early morning hours of May 8, 2005. 

 

Alvarado-Juarez is scheduled to appear in Denver County Court, room 12T, on Friday, September 23, 2005 at 9:00 a.m. to be formally advised of the charges.
