NEIGHBOR ACCUSED
OF INDECENT EXPOSURE
Denver District Attorney Mitch
Morrissey has formally charged a man accused of entering a
neighbor’s apartment without permission and exposing himself.
A man and his three year old daughter were home watching
television at the time.
Thomas Cape
(DOB: 01-16-65) is charged with
second degree burglary (F3) and indecent exposure
(M1).
The charges allege
that on June 11, 2005 Cape opened a neighbor’s screen door and
entered the residence with his pants pulled down around his
ankles, no shirt, and a cup in his hand. He later indicated he
had wanted to borrow a cigarette. He fled but was arrested
nearby a short time later.
Cape remains in custody in the
Denver County Jail. His bond has been set at $10,000. He is
scheduled to be formally advised of the charges on June 17, 2005
in Denver County Court, room 12T.
