 FORMER CITY WORKER SENTENCED FOR EMBEZZLEMENT

 

A former Denver city worker has been sentenced for the embezzlement of $44,700 worth of computer equipment from the Denver Election Commission in 2003.

 

Thomas Cole (DOB: 01-14-73) has pleaded guilty earlier to embezzlement of public property -- a class five felony.

 

He was sentenced to 30 days in the Denver County Jail, four years of probation, and was ordered to pay $36,392 in restitution (some of the equipment was recovered).
