BURGLAR FACING MULTIPLE FELONIES

Denver District Attorney Mitch Morrissey has charged a man with a series of burglaries in the Denver metro area.

Titus Emilyon (DOB: 03-06-84) has been charged with five counts of second-burglary (F4) and one count of theft (F4) in connection with five separate burglaries occurring between April and August 2005.  One of the cases was filed September 1, 2005 and four additional cases were filed on September 7, 2005.

The charges allege that Emilyon broke into numerous businesses and shops, including a liquor store, restaurant and convenience store.  Emilyon is a suspect in as many as a dozen or more burglaries dating back to late last fall and as the investigation continues additional charges are possible.

Emilyon appeared in Denver County Court today to be advised of the charges.  He remains in custody in the Denver County Jail.  His bond has been set at a total of $40,000 in the five separate cases filed so far.

He is scheduled to appear next for a preliminary hearing on September 28, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. in Denver County Court, room 472W.
