NURSE CHARGED IN THEFT OF DRUGS

 

Denver District Attorney Mitch Morrissey has formally charged a nurse accused of stealing prescription narcotics.

 

Keith Little (dob: 11-18-70) is charged with obtaining a controlled substance by fraud or deceit (F5), possession of a controlled substance- more than a gram (F4) and theft (F4).

 

Little worked at a Denver hospital (Colorado Acute Long Term Hospital) and is accused of stealing a large amount of Fentanyl, worth nearly $50,000 on the street.  A pharmacist at the hospital, Loren Priem (dob: 01-02-77) is also facing charges of possession of a controlled substance in connection with the case.

 

Little was released from custody on a $5,000 bond.  He is scheduled to appear in Denver County Court to be advised of the charges on December 6, 2005 at 9 a.m. in room 12T.
