BAR EMPLOYEE CHARGED IN CUSTOMER ASSAULT

Denver District Attorney Mitch Morrissey has formally charged a man in connection with an assault at a lower downtown nightclub that left the victim paralyzed.

Tim Mikeljack (dob: 07-16-72) is charged with second-degree assault (F4).

The charge alleges that Mikeljack was working at a Denver nightclub, “Bash”, in the early morning hours of November 27, 2005 when he assaulted a customer.  The 24-year-old man suffered serious bodily injury resulting in his legs being paralyzed.

Mikeljack has been released from custody on $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Denver County Court on December 12, 2005 at 9 a.m. in room 12T.
