MAN CHARGED FOR HAVING A GUN AT
DIA
Denver District Attorney Mitch Morrissey has formally charged a
man accused of having a loaded pistol as he went through
security screening at Denver International Airport.
James Mueller
(dob: 04-24-66)
of Aurora is charged with one count of carrying a firearm in
a public transportation facility (F6).
Mueller is accused of having a loaded 22-caliber handgun tucked
up under his left armpit as he went through security screening
at DIA on November 15, 2005. The firearm was discovered by TSA
during routine screening operations.
Mueller has been released on a $3000 bond and is scheduled to
appear in Denver County Court, room 12T, on Thursday, December
1, 2005 at 9 a.m. to be advised of the charge.
