CHARGES FILED IN SUNDAY SHOOTING OF TWO GIRLS

 

Denver District Attorney Mitch Morrissey has formally charged three young adults in connection with a shooting last Sunday that injured two girls who were sleeping in their home.

 

Terra Ramirez (DOB: 05-28-86), Natalie McFarlane (DOB: 01-25-86) and Andrea Rubio (DOB: 02-07-85) are each charged with:

 

·        Six counts of attempted first-degree murder (F2)

·        Two counts of first-degree assault (F3)

·        Two counts of illegal discharge of a weapon (F5)

·        Conspiracy to commit criminal mischief (F5)

·        Conspiracy to commit illegal discharge of a weapon (F6)

 

 

The charges allege that on August 21, 2005 the three defendants went to an area near 1st and Osceola, firing rifle shots that injured two young girls who were sleeping inside a bedroom. 

 

Ramirez, McFarlane and Rubio all remain in custody in the Denver County Jail.  Their bond is set at $250,000.  They are scheduled to appear in Denver County Court, room 12T, on Thursday, September 1, 2005 at 9 a.m. to be formally advised of the charges.
