TWO MORE 211 CREW ASSOCIATES
INDICTED
A Colorado State Grand Jury has indicted two more people
associated with the 211 Crew, a Colorado prison gang, in an
indictment filed today in Denver.
Marcie Simonton
(DOB: 09-21-58)
is charged by indictment with:
Violating the Colorado Organized Crime Control Act –COCCA
(racketeering) (F2)
Conspiracy to commit first-degree assault (F4)
Possession and distribution of controlled substances (F3, F6)
–five counts
The indictment alleges that Simonton engaged in a pattern of
criminal activity including conspiracy to commit first-degree
assault and the possession and distribution of illicit drugs.
The indictment further alleges that Simonton had more than 100
grams of methamphetamine in her home in December 2004.
Jennifer Mosher-Kiplinger
(DOB: 11-04-76)
is charged by indictment with:
Possession of a controlled substance (F6)
Child abuse (M2)
The indictment alleges that Mosher-Kiplinger possessed one gram
or less of methamphetamine and placed her 7-year-old daughter in
a situation that posed a threat of injury by exposing her to an
environment of illicit drug use and distribution.
Simonton is being held in the Denver County Jail on $100,000
bond. Mosher-Kiplinger is being held on $25,000 bond. Both
women are scheduled to appear for advisement in Denver District
Court, Division 6, on February 7, 2005 at 8:30 a.m.
