WOMAN PLEADS GUILTY IN CHILD ABUSE DEATH

Griselle Suarez pleaded guilty today in connection with the death of her newborn baby who was found in a dumpster last June.

Suarez pleaded guilty to child abuse resulting in death (F2).

She faces 16 to 32 years in prison when she is sentenced on June 4, 2005 at 8:30 a.m. in Denver District Courtroom 16.

Suarez gave birth last June. Her newborn son was found in a dumpster near the 4800 block of Beach Court on June 25, 2005. The baby later died at Denver Health Medical Center.
