CHARGES FILED IN INDECENT EXPOSURE CASE

Denver District Attorney Bill Ritter, Jr. filed charges today in
connection with reported cases of indecent exposure that occurred in area
libraries.
Gary Alan Hatcher (DOB: 7-14-48) is charged with two counts of indecent
exposure to a child (F6), attempt indecent exposure to a child
(F6), indecent exposure (M3), and failure to register as a sex
offender (M2).
Hatcher was arrested January 9, 2001 following an investigation by the
Denver Police Department into allegations of a man exposing himself in the
children's section of libraries and a bookstore.
Hatcher is scheduled to appear for formal advisement on these charges
on Friday, January 19, 2001 at 9:00 a.m. in Denver County Court room 12T.
