CHARGES FILED IN DOCTOR IMPERSONATION CASE
April 10, 2001

Contact: Lynn Kimbrough, 720-913-9025

April 9, 2001    Denver District Attorney Bill Ritter, Jr. filed charges today against Cammeron Archuelletta, alleging Archuelletta has been treating patients and writing prescriptions without being a licensed physician.  Included in the charges are one count forgery (F5), one count second degree forgery (M1), and one count practicing medicine without a license (M2).

Archuelletta, who allegedly claimed to be a doctor, and later an administrator at Childrens’ Hospital, reportedly visited patients in their homes.  In one instance, he is reported to have performed acupuncture on a patient.  Archuelletta is also suspected of giving classes that would lead attendees to their being licensed as certified nursing assistants.

Archuelletta, also known as Clint Cook, Cammeron Miller, and Clinton Black, was arrested today on a $150,000.00 bond.  Anyone who has had contact with Archuelleta regarding these allegations is asked to call Daniel Chun, District Attorney Senior Investigator at 720-913-9172.
