FORMER GUARD
CHARGED WITH SEXUAL ASSAULT
Denver District
Attorney Bill Ritter, Jr. filed charges today against a former
prison guard in connection with the sexual assault of an inmate.
David Christensen
(DOB: 9-18-61) is charged with sexual assault using force (F3).
The charges allege
that while he was working as a corrections officer at the Denver
Women’s Correctional Facility he sexually assaulted a
28-year-old female inmate. He no longer works as a guard.
The presumptive
range for sentencing on a class 3 felony is 4 to 12 years in
prison.
