MURDER CHARGE FILED IN CAPITOL HILL AREA SHOOTING

 

Denver District Attorney Bill Ritter, Jr. formally charged 28 year old Eric Humes (DOB: 5-19-75) with first-degree murder after deliberation (F1) and second-degree assault (F4), in connection with last week’s Capitol Hill area shooting.

 

Humes is alleged to have shot and killed Catherine Dixon and wounded Debra Bellamy on Tuesday, June 3.

 

Humes is being held without bond at the Denver County Jail. He is scheduled to appear in Denver County Court, Room 12T, on Wednesday, June 11 at 9 a.m., to be advised of the charges.
