Grandmother pleads guilty in kidnapping case

A woman charged with kidnapping her grandson earlier this year has pleaded guilty to one count of harboring a child, a class one misdemeanor.

Maria Feliciano (DOB: 7-16-54) was originally charged with kidnapping.  The charge alleged that she took her grandson in January 2000 and kept him out of state without permission.  She lived with the child in New York until February 20, 2003, when police removed the boy and returned to him to his mother in Denver.

Feliciano was sentenced today immediately after entering her guilty plea to one year of probation.
