NEW CHARGES FILED AGAINST FINANCIAL ADVISOR

A Denver Grand Jury has returned a new indictment against Will Hoover (DOB: 10-02-51), a former financial advisor who was first indicted last April.

The indictment adds 27 new felony counts to the earlier indictment and was handed down late yesterday, June 25, 2003.  It adds 13 additional counts of securities fraud and 14 additional counts of theft.  There are 14 additional victims with additional losses of nearly six million dollars.

With the new indictment, Hoover now faces one count of violating the Colorado Organized Crime Control Act (F2), 26 counts of securities fraud (F3), and 29 counts of theft (F3).

Hoover is scheduled to appear in Denver District Court on July 11, 2003 at 1:30 p.m. in Courtroom 10 for his arraignment.
