Denver District Attorney Bill Ritter, Jr. filed charges today against a dance instructor accused of hosting a marijuana party for several teenage girls last February.

Kristi Peterson (DOB: 1-25-78) is charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor (F4) and dispensing marijuana to a person under 15 (F4). The charges allege that Peterson had a sleep-over party for several girls in her dance class in February 2003 and that she supplied marijuana during the party.

Peterson has been released from custody on bond and is scheduled to be formally advised of the charges on Monday, June 30, 2003 at 9:00 a.m. in Denver County Court, room 12T.
