ACCUSED EMBEZZLER
PLEADS GUILTY TO IMPERSONATION
One of two men accused of embezzling
thousands of dollars from the City of Denver pleaded guilty to
criminal impersonation (F6) today in Denver District
Court.
Marcus Milon (DOB: 9-3-77) is
scheduled to be sentenced October 7, 2003 at 8:30 a.m. in Denver
District Court, courtroom 17. The presumptive sentence for a
class 6 felony is 1 year to 18 months in prison and up to a
$100,000 fine.
In 2002, Milon and co-defendant
Derrick Brown were accused of creating fake company
invoices, which they sent to the City of Denver. Brown, a former
city employee, is set to be arraigned September 2, 2003.
