MURDER SUSPECT LOCATED IN UTAH – CHARGES FILED

Denver District Attorney Bill Ritter, Jr. has filed formal charges in connection with the September murder of 24-year-old Jennifer Erickson.  Erickson’s body was found in Weld County on September 26, 2002 after she disappeared from her Denver home on September 24, 2002.

Steven Robles (DOB: 11-2-81) is charged with first-degree murder (F1), first-degree felony murder (F1), second-degree kidnapping (F3), attempted second-degree kidnapping (F5), and harassment by stalking (F5).

Robles was under investigation for an alleged stalking/attempted kidnapping incident that occurred a few days before Erickson disappeared.  Robles was located in Utah where he is under arrest for a drug charge.  He will now face extradition to Denver in connection with the above charges.
