FORMER TEACHER CHARGED WITH SEXUAL ASSAULT ON A CHILD

 

Denver District Attorney Bill Ritter, Jr. filed formal charges today against a former Denver Waldorf School teacher in connection with allegations of sexual assault.

 

Robert Drake (DOB: 9-3-77) is charged with one count of sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust – pattern of conduct (F3) and two counts of sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust (F4). The charges allege that the defendant had sexual relations with a 16-year-old student of his on two occasions in April, 2003.

 

Drake is being held in the Denver County Jail on $75,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in Denver County Court, room 12T, on Tuesday, July 29, 2003 at 9 a.m. to be formally advised of the charges.
