CHARGES ADDED IN WILES CASE

Denver District Attorney Bill Ritter, Jr. has filed new charges today against John Mac Wiles (DOB: 8-19-65) in connection with a home invasion robbery and sexual assault that occurred in July 2003.

Wiles is charged with sexual assault (F2), sexual assault on a child (F3), two counts of second-degree kidnapping (F2), two counts of aggravated robbery (F3), and two counts of first-degree burglary (F3) in connection with the home invasion that occurred on July 21, 2003 near Montview and Colorado Boulevard.  These charges are in addition to the charges filed against Wiles yesterday.

Wiles was arrested in Wichita, Kansas last week and has waived extradition, but there is no court appearance scheduled for him until he is returned to Colorado.  The exact date of his return is unknown at this time.
