DA Charges Phone Jack Bandits

 

Denver District Attorney Bill Ritter, Jr. has formally charged three people, including a teenage girl, with a series of robberies in August.  They are suspected of calling local businesses just before robbing them to warn the victims that they were being watched and should do what they were told.  The victims included a movie theatre and a dry cleaning business.

 

26 year-old Joseph Eserner (DOB: 12-11-76) is charged with two counts of Robbery (F4) and three counts of Aggravated Robbery (F4).

 

20 year-old Jennifer Alonso (DOB: 9-13-83) is charged with two counts of Robbery (F4) and two counts of Aggravated Robbery (F3).

 

Both Eserner and Alonso are currently in the Denver County Jail and are scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Friday, October 10, 2003 at 8:30 am.

 

17 year-old Lisa Glanzer (DOB: 4-29-86) is charged as an adult with one count of Robbery (F4) and three counts of Aggravated Robbery (F3).

 

Lisa is currently in the Denver County Jail and is scheduled for an arraignment on Monday, October 20, 2003 at 1:30 pm.
