Denver District Attorney’s Office Annual Citizens Academy
The Denver District Attorney’s Office Annual Citizens Academy will be held on Saturday, October 12th. The Citizens Academy provides ongoing practical information about the criminal justice system for individuals who live or work in the City and County of Denver to accomplish the following:
- Build and sustain a positive relationship between the community and the District Attorney’s Office
- Enhance public understanding of the District Attorney’s Office by providing insights into the operations and procedures of the Office
- Empower community members to become more proactively involved with the criminal legal system and their respective communities
- Reduce crime and increase reporting due to a better understanding of the laws, the criminal justice process, and the consequences of criminal misconduct
Please join us for a one-day, “Denver DA 101 Academy" featuring interactive presentations and discussions by District Attorney Beth McCann, Deputy DAs, and staff from the office.
