Denver DA Charges PTSO Treasurer with Theft (McKee)

DENVER—Prosecutors with the Denver District Attorney’s office today announced that they have charged Cynthia Marie McKee (age 55) with theft (F4).

Beginning in December 2013 and over a five-year period, as Treasurer of the Parent Teacher Student Organization for the Denver School of the Arts, McKee allegedly wrote scores of checks to herself, members of her family and associates totaling approximately $56,000.

McKee’s Second Advisement in Case Number 19CR03594 is scheduled for May 29, 2019, in Courtroom 2300.
