Englewood Man Charged with Murder in Connection with Road Rage Shooting

DENVER— Denver District Attorney Beth McCann today announced that Nicholas Moodley has been charged with first degree murder.

On November 17, 2023, it is alleged that Moodley shot and killed 45 year-old Shane Warn at Park Avenue West and Blake Street in downtown Denver.  The two men appear to have been involved in a driving dispute at the time.

“I am deeply concerned by the number of vehicle-related disputes that have taken place recently in Denver.  This case once again illustrates the tragedy that often results when people try to resolve those disputes with firearms,” said DA McCann.
