Jay Bianchi Sentenced for Sexual Assault
NEWS RELEASE
January 23, 2026
DENVER — Denver District Attorney John Walsh has announced that Jay Bianchi was sentenced today to a year in jail followed by 10 years to life in prison.
On November 14, 2025, a jury convicted Bianchi of three counts of Sexual Assault and two counts of Unlawful Sexual Contact. The convictions were connected to Bianchi’s conduct with three women between 2020 and 2024 at two Denver bars that he owned.
“As a Denver jury found, Jay Bianchi was a serial sexual predator – over several years, he sexually assaulted women who were physically incapable of defending themselves. As a result of today’s sentence, Bianchi is paying the price for his terrible actions and we hope that his victims can draw comfort from that fact,” said DA Walsh. “I want to thank the prosecutors, investigators, victim advocates, paralegals and legal administrative assistants in my office, as well as the detectives with the Denver Police Department’s Sex Crimes and Cold Case Units, whose outstanding work over many years resulted in the successful resolution of this case.”
Chief Deputy District Attorney Bree Beasley and Chief Deputy District Attorney Chris Curtis led the prosecution team for the Denver DA’s Office.
