Memorial Sign Program
The Memorial Sign Program is a program administered by the Denver District Attorney’s Office through which the City and County of Denver erects memorial road signs at the site where one or more persons have been killed in an alcohol or drug-related fatal automobile incident. The program gives family members of the victim(s) an opportunity to provide a personal memorial in the memory of their lost loved one(s).
The signs also serve as a reminder to drivers of the results of reckless driving or while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.
If you know someone who was killed in a fatal automobile crash where alcohol and/or drugs were involved and would like a memorial sign erected in his/her memory, please review the criteria contained in the below documents and then email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
